Will squats and lunges make my thighs big?

I have been researching if squats and lunches make your thighs bigger and some places say yes and some places say it makes your thighs more skinny..like I've said in my last questions, I am really skinny. I hate it. I eat all the time but I just have a high metabolism and I am 15, and I am going to be a sophomore. I hate looking like this and lately I've been drinking a lot of protein smoothies/shakes and I have been eating protein bars. But I know that won't make my thighs any bigger. My thigh gap isn't extremely bad but my thighs are still skinny and small and I HATE IT. It literally makes me depressed. I need to know the truth, I want to do the 30 day squat challenge but I don't want to do it if it makes me lose weight or makes my thighs skinnier. What should I do to get rid of my thigh gap and make my thighs really big? Please help i don't know what to do
