I am 36 yrs previous and want to have tonsilectomy — I am scared. Any lend a hand, guidelines or tips?

I’ve had strep for 7 wks and it is not going to go away. Tonsils are enormous and nothing helps cut back the inflamation. It can be rocking my world. I’ve heard the surgical treatment is quick and easy however the restoration is horrendous? Any assist recommendation tales guidelines ideas recommended?!! Ty
