Question: How many days per week do I intermittent fast?

Zero days! Fasting works AGAINST a weight loss plan! When you deprive your body of food, the body tries to conserve the smaller amount of calories coming in (and can slow your metabolism). Your body actually becomes trained to operate on less of a calorie load, so when you do eat during non- fasting periods, your body "races" to maintain the calories taken in (don't take my word for it, ask a doctor).



Best way to lose weight (and the ONLY way for it to work) is to burn more calories than you take in. You can do this by adjusting down your calorie intake, increasing your activity, or both.
