I personally recommend you not to use pill or supplements that it have side effects to your health. You should to plan your exercising routine and a balanced diet plan that will help you to reduce your body weight and keep you fit.Go for running at morning, join 3 or 4 times gym in a week, make push up and dancing step to keep work from all the body parts in shaking position.Use low cholesterol food which fill your body requirements.
You didn't give information about your body physics and didn't tell your goal that how much weight you want to loss in 2 months?
So,next time share your plans properly. It will really helpful to give you suggestions all about.

Find out how many calories a day you need to maintain your current weight and then subtract by 500 from that number so you lose 3500 calories per week (500x7) and 3500 calories= 1 pound of fat approximately. Do cardiovascular exercises for 1 hour 4-5x a week things like treadmill, running, rowing machine, stair climber, elliptical etc. You must make sure you keep your HR in a training zone of 55-85% of your max HR to find an average max HR subtract your age from the number 220. Hope this helps.

The nutritional caloric advice is sound, but if someone wants to lose fat without compromising muscle, I would far advise to get the diet more strict before divulging in 4 to 5 one hour intense cardio sessions per week...that is way too much cardio to do without compromising hard earned muscle mass...unless of course, there is at least 1.5 grams of protein per pound of goal bodyweight in the diet each day...which most people are far from...try 20-30 minutes of intense cardio first...or some HIT routines.

I would highly suggest getting on a sub-2000 calorie diet first with at least 50% of the spread allocated to protein consumption and the rest allocated more towards carbs post-workout on weight training days and fats on non-training days.

Here is the split I would recommend for your 5 day training plan:

1) Monday: Chest
2) Tuesday: Legs
3) Wednesday: Arms (Biceps and Triceps)
4) Thursday: Shoulders and Abs
5) Friday: Back
6) Saturday: Rest (diet and cheat day)
7) Sunday: Rest

Feel free to let me know any questions you may have or if you would like to add in cardiovascular exercise and a personalized nutritional plan as well...I hope this gets you started.

I am interested with this plan and i'm planning to use this for my future workout. However, is it necessary to have two days of rest after five days of intensive workout? Does this cheat day you suggested means i can eat whatever i want but to what extent? How much should I eat during this cheat day?

Hi kenhuck, yes it is necessary to have two consecutive days of rest after 5 intense days of weight training. If you want to instead split it up to have 2 days of rest through the week at different days (non-consecutive) you may, but I have found that 2 days in a row has been the most beneficial amount of rest for my weary muscles by the end of the week.

A cheat day suggests you can have a cheat meal with whatever you want, and then a few other snacks that you wouldn't normally consume during the week. However, if your weight training is extremely intense, typically an entire cheat day is okay...it depends on what you are doing. I partake in 20 hour intermittent fasts every single day (18 hours of the weekend) and 5 extremely intense weight training sessions during the week...thus, an entire cheat day HELPS me lose more fat as opposed to the opposite...so it depends on you and your training / diet schedule.

During your cheat day, it really again depends on your routine. I am around 1600-1700 calories during my piddly 4 hour eating window during the week. Therefore, on my cheat day (Friday night or Saturday night), I blast through 2500 to 3000 calories of high protein intake along with my fats and carbs (ideally relegated more towards fats on this day, but sometimes carbs)....but if it is only 2000 calories with a higher carb spread, that would work as well...it depends on YOU! :)

That growling is typically just your body asking for more glucose to burn energy with...it isn't always a sign of true hunger...after the growls, your body goes into a fasting mode where it takes any available amino acids for muscle repair and any available fat in storage for burning energy...it can be one of the most efficient states of existence for body re-composition.

Reducing Abdomen Fats is very difficult. It take lot's of time and it gives very much pain to the body.
We can do basic exercise for it like crunches or skipping... like this

That is a pretty generic statement about getting rid of abdominal fats in regards to digging up an older thread...also, when you say that you can do basic crunches or skipping (skipping? lol) "like that", what do you mean?

If your body is so tired by this time I would not recommend caffeine as this will make it so that you feel awake, but your body is still tired and this can do damage to your body. I'm going to agree with everyone else with your food intake throughout the day. If your energy level is still so low by that time either go to the doctor to check your thyroid or vitamin D levels, but if they are fine then you will just have to adjust your schedule. If your body cannot take the amount of work your are trying to do then it being tired is telling you that.

I usually listen to rap and rock. Some rap really get you pumped up, and rock is just good to listen to sometimes. Sometimes I even listen to heavy metal bands like Disturbed. (Disturbed makes heavy metal.) I can't imagine working out without any music. It would just get kind of boring and dull, but music really helps make it fun or gives you a purpose to work out.

I mainly listen to very upbeat songs. I love this type of energetic music because it keeps me motivated and excited during my workout. I would usually push my body more when the song is more upbeat so therefore this is my favorite and only type of genre that I love to listen to while working out.

You won't lose weight by eating apples alone...if they are replacing something like Oreos are other sugary, carb-loaded snacks, then sure you can lose the pounds via substitution...but if you are looking to get down to a shredded physique, apples as a primary source of nutrition are not going to do you much good in getting there...lean protein and timed complex carbohydrate consumption are going to give your body a much better chance for building muscle and burning fat.

Yeah, I agree. It would take much more than apples in order to get a well defined physique. However, they are much better as snacks than cookies. (Which I myself was bad about eating. However, a weak of being completely broke and finding some more nutritious snacks was very helpful.)

Right, I would take an apple over a cookie...but not over a lean cut of meat. They are actually quite expensive for the lack of nutrients provided for burning fat and building muscle...I would rather pick up a portion of protein or some leafy green vegetables for a large amount of calories and a filling feeling...an apple wouldn't quite do it for me in any case unless it was an absolute mandatory substitution for something with more refined sugar...which is never the case in my life.

Back when I was 16 I was diagnosed with Iron Deficiency, and my doctor as a precaution prescribed me ferrous gluconate and told me to eat healthy to avoid problematic health in the future. I took the vitamins for some time, and decided to stop since i felt as normal and lazy as ever. At 17 I move out of my parents place, go wild, start smoking and stop eating healthy food all together, and two years later started having all the possible symptoms of anemia imaginable. I made some stupid choices that caused my 19 year old body experience health problems of a 30 year old, but now it seems to be coming together. I take Omega 369, Ferrous Gluconate, B12 and folic acid daily, I make sure I eat at least 3 tomatoes every day, I am a meat eater, but for non-meat preferences I suggest green and red colored fruits and vegetables. I stopped drinking coffee and energy drinks (I used to drink an energy drink a day) and make sure I take my vitamins with orange juice because they absorb better that way. Water should work fine too, but not tea or coffee (or alcohol). May be once a week I'll allow myself a cup of coffee, but usually I avoid that stuff like I avoid unprotected sex with an ethiopian transvestite.

The best source of iron is liver. In fact, you need to restrict the amount of liver you eat in case of iron overload. I wouldn't eat more than a pound of liver per week. Another good means of increasing iron is to cook with a cast iron pan.

I've never thought this 'tip' has a lot of validity to it too, but the reasons for it that I've heard before mostly have a lot of superstitions attached to it. Thanks for clarifying.

The time of day you eat is completely irrelevant in regards to fat loss and muscle building. What is relevant is the time you eat in regards to your weight training or cardio. If you want to burn fat, you want nearly ALL nutrition during the post-workout time period. If you want to gain muscle as well, you need BCAA's at strategic times before and after training to repair and help the muscle recover.

THIS, is very informative, thank you, very relevant to my current work-out program. I can still follow my exercise program expecting results and not having paranoia that it will all be pointless if I continue to follow my regular eating-schedule of after 8.

Of course...it does depend on your regular eating habits of course...within your scheduled eating period, which types of foods are you consuming...and also, which type of workout are you performing? Those things matter as well.

It's not everyday of course, but I'm home late often enough that I'd take my dinner around 9-9.30. The usual fare for dinner; meat, vegies, rice, drinks. I do my work-outs before dinner usually, because after I eat I'd just want to relax for an hour or so doing nothing strenuous before bedtime.

I feel it was designed for a significantly larger monitor (which I wish I had, lol.) I know there are some way to design a site that kind of resizes itself for people with varying resolutions.

Here's what the site is looking like for me:
http://i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww26/warchildbosnia/bfbe.png

Other than that, I love the idea behind the site. I would visit it a *ton* more if it showed up on my computer screen better.

Hi Melbel!

You may want to try this to change your computers resolution.

1. Go to your desktop.
2. Right click your mouse and choose "Personalize".
3. Choose "Display Settings" and adjust the resolution. I have mine set at 1440 x 900 pixels and I get the full screen.

I think colonics are good when they work. I have had several done and they never seem to get more feces than I would ordinarily eliminate during the course of the week. I've read quite a bit about waste in the colon and it says if one is blocked, until you reach hard black feces, you have not cleaned the colon. I have never gotten to that very old poop.

That would run up your budget real quick. I don't think I'd have enough room in my fridge for that much milk unless I went to the store every day or two. Plus, there are probably better and easier ways to get big and bulky. I don't even think I could drink a gallon of milk every day without getting sick of it pretty fast and never drinking it again. I would like to see someone who actually did this.

I would suggest that you do not do them on the same day and go for once a week for each. These exercises workout very big muscles and it takes them a longer time to recover.

I do 3 warm up sets with deadlifts of about 2x5, 1x3,1x2 then I do a working set of 1x5 with deadlift. I do that only once a week but I do squats 2x a week with warm up sets and a 3x5 working set. Both are important to incorporate into your workouts but maybe lower the frequency of deadlifts by increasing the frequency of squats to make up for it allowing both exercises.

Fortunately, this forum doesn't require you to have a certain rating to register. Because I will be missing out much on a great forum site. And I'm saying this with deep sincerity. : )

Thanks, Lloyd. We try harder and harder to do more research and reading and keep down the Bro-science...if you go to Bodybuilding.com you get a lot of shit opinions that are just plain laughable.

Just this morning in fact, I was reading a thread at BB.com from a picture of Jay Cutler's stretch marks...people were giving advice back and forth on how to remove stretchmarks from skin bleaching and cocoa butter and asking why bodybuilders don't have stretch marks...I mean, it is just laughable what people will believe and what people choose to see and not see...pure ridiculousness! lol.

I love it here. At 60, I'm probably old enough to be everyone's grandma, and my health isn't so good, so I can't do the amazing gym feats that some of you manage. I do try to eat well and exercise within my limitations though, and I've picked up some great tips here.

What really keeps me coming back every day is the banter, because it shows that although everyone here is committed to a healthy lifestyle, they don't take themselves too seriously, and they soon deflate the occasional pompous know-it-all that appears on the boards. SHS is my spiritual home.

I think that's a bit inconvenient, since you will force your body to exert it's muscles and to sweat several times a day for 10 mins. I personally view it as a hassle because if you are working or studying, I don't know how you are gonna accomplish that at work or school. It would be better to just exercise "full time" during the day on weekends, rather than forcing yourself to sweat for only 10 minutes several times a day.

Yup. You might as well get in the entire workout in one set period of 60 minutes or so. If practicing intense cardio, 10 minutes is barely enough to get you into fat burning mode.

If practicing intense weight training, 10 minutes here and there will not provide the muscle fiber tearing needed to break down muscle prior to protein synthesis and rebuilding...thus wasting your time period.

1 hour of productive workout per day? Or six 10 minute slots of wasted time and energy? Your call.

I don't know what is wrong with me, but coffee doesn't give me energy:confused:. After drinking a cup of strong coffee I can immediately go to sleep so I often drink it around midnight - it's a dessert after supper:o. I love the taste of it!

Coffee rocks! I am a big fan of coffee for sure. But not for energy, I have enough of that...but definitely for being able to be regular when going to the loo. I mean, it is the best laxative ever!! Also, it tastes so awesome so why bother with tea right?

At home we have this DVD of "Hip Hop Abs", google it if you are interested, it is a dance exercise routine specifically targeted to remove belly fat. You just perform certain dance steps that is targeted to tone your stomach. The disc even has yoga lessons included in it! But I don't really do those exercises much nowadays though, since I'm concentrating on mostly just running.

Hip Hop abs with big Shawn T, eh? Lol. Or you can just focus on fat burning exercises such as intense running and elliptical and weight training with nothing but BCAA's...you can perfect your diet to lose the fat around the stomach area...with or without Hip Hop abs! Lol.

Anyway, so you also have watched it, Shawn T is so infectious and lively in that video, its hard not to follow, lol. Regarding weight trainnig, we do have those small dumbbells here but I'm afraid to use it bacause I might gain visible muscles on my arms!

Yes, the BCAA's have a purpose to preserve muscle mass and fuel the intensity of the workout while at the same time not compromising fat loss during the workout. You can lose belly fat and have an intense muscle building workout at the same time while having nothing but BCAA's protein in your system beforehand...

I find a fit, tone woman highly attractive. I think that the IFBB bikini women competitors are very attractive. They have a tone of muscle but it is not out of proportion to their body. I don't want a woman who looks like she could be a contender for the Mr. Olympia title. Just a fit girl who works out but isn't overly bulky.

I think it's admirable that anyone can push themselves that hard to get so much muscle. I think building muscle is like a hobby for some people, so I'm not going to disrespect anyone who loves to do it. However, I don't really care for muscles at all. I'm a woman myself and I'd much rather have a soft, shapely body than rock-like strength. I actually don't care for muscles on men either. Also, what's with these insults? I don't think it's fair to call women with lots of muscle "men." It's mean to call *any *woman a "man" just because of her appearance.

I do like to use firming moisturizers as well, with vitamin e. But I do believe it is more important to address the issues internally, by what you have recommended. I believe staying hydrated is especially important. I've tried a few different things, but I find drinking water and staying sufficiently hydrated really helps reduce the appearance of cellulite. And of course, eliminating processed foods.

I try and eat a very well balanced diet which include most of the vitamins and minerals i need according to the recommended daily allowance values. Other than that, i do take a simple protein shake post my workout which provides me with enough protein to repair the micro muscle tears due to workout.
Whether you need vitamin supplements depends on the quality of your diet and other genetic and medical factors, IMO.

Sometimes you can get all the nutrients you need form your diet and sometimes not...supplements are meant to be supplements...not replacements...unfortunately we treat them that way at times. I take whey protein, fish oil, and a multi-vitamin amongst others to get the nutrients I need more of on a daily basis...if I could get them all in my diet every day, I would prefer to do so...but I choose not to or cannot during each day.

A multivitamin isn't designed to make you feel anything or give you a boost...a multivitamin is designed to give you the adequate vitamins and minerals that you will most certainly miss in ANY "perfectly" balanced diet. I cannot think of one single situation where someone shouldn't be taking a multivitamin...in fact, I find it quite amazing that so many individuals do not take a multivitamin.

It gets easier to swallow pills with the more often you take them.

Simply put the pill on your tongue, take a small swig of water, and tilt your head back before swallowing...the multivitamin should slide right down into your throat and then your stomach.

If you are still having trouble, get some enteric coated capsules as opposed to tablets and they should slide down the older guzzler a bit easier than before.

Green tea is fantastic for you! Does anybody else not enjoy the taste of plain green tea though? It reminds me of the smell of a rabbit pen, I have to drink Green Mint or any other added flavor to be able to tolerate it. What's made me curious though is the comparison of benefits of bagged tea vs. loose leaf. Bagged is of course shredded and chopped up practically into dust, and loose leaf is whole. Perhaps the essentially destroying the leaves to bag them may slightly lower their beneficial properties?
