I usually listen to rap and rock. Some rap really get you pumped up, and rock is just good to listen to sometimes. Sometimes I even listen to heavy metal bands like Disturbed. (Disturbed makes heavy metal.) I can't imagine working out without any music. It would just get kind of boring and dull, but music really helps make it fun or gives you a purpose to work out.

I mainly listen to very upbeat songs. I love this type of energetic music because it keeps me motivated and excited during my workout. I would usually push my body more when the song is more upbeat so therefore this is my favorite and only type of genre that I love to listen to while working out.
