So currently i'm not really counting calories, I just watch what I eat and make sure I eat smaller portions than usual. I eat maybe one or two sandwiches a day (low fat ham, whole wheat or 12-grain bread, lettuce, tomatoes, light mayo, and mustard), and if I have chicken breasts I bake one up and have it with a small portion of white rice (my family is Filipino so we have tons of that stuff) and a good amount of veggies. Between meals I like to eat some strawberries or a carrot, or really any non-processed food that I happen to have at the time. I depend quite a bit on sandwiches because I live with 10 other people that don't really care about their diet, so my fridge and freezer are filled with horrible foods and barely any healthy foods, and sandwiches are the most convenient and I believe healthiest option available at my house. I read somewhere that sandwiches are bad when it comes to losing weight, though.
