Question: Finding how many calories you burn at the end of the day?

How do you do the math to find out how many calories you burn at the end of the day (your net calories). I mean like the calories plus what you've eaten & the calories you've burned at the gym. I'm super confused and I'm trying to lose 2-3lbs a week but Idk if I'm doing the math correct. Like do you do bmr-calories eaten+Calories burned ?pls help
