Question: Why is green tea good for losing weight? What's so special about it?

I've been working out a lot, watching what I eat, eating healthy, and walking/jogging 2-4 miles per day. (One in a whole I might take a day off because I'm sore) but I do squats, lunges, crunches, scissors , wall sits, push ups , ect. Will this help me get skinnier thighs, and flat stomach? Please help. I would like to be a little skinnier by my birthday. (In a month)
