Question: My BMR is only 1200 calories per day. How would I lose weight?

Ok so all doctors and health professionals say that a women should not eat fewer than 1200 calories per day. However I am a kind of small person and my calculated BMR is 1200. So how would I be able to lose weight if it is unsafe to have a net of fewer than 1200 calories per day?
