Craigslist.org has a section listed in every city titled "free" where you can click and see all of the things being given away free of charge in the selected city. I have used this site from time to time to get free things of interest and I always enjoy seeing what interesting things are listed. As always, as with any internet sight, be cautious about meeting up with people over the internet!
