I see this thrown around here a lot, and I was wondering. Isn't it generally accepted that there are no bad fats (besides trans fat, obviously)?
I see people say "make sure you eat good fats", but isn't it just myth that saturated fat is bad? Why does it matter as long as you're not eating trans?
I understand unsaturated fats can lower bad cholestorol and raise good, but if that's already in check, what's the advantage of "good" fats for muscle building / fat loss?
