Carbohydrates and weightlifting

Would a low(er) carb diet inhibit gains? Is 100-200g a day considered low? My calories/fat/protein are where I like them. I'm wondering if i should get more carbs in. Does it matter what time of day I consume them, are the really more important pre/post workout?



My post workout carbs are usually my veggies.



What it comes down to I'd protein/fat as it keeps me full longer, and I figured calories spent there would be more beneficial.
