Question: Is this a healthy diet plan?

I'm almost 14 and I want to become a prima ballerina. I've never done ballet or any other dance style before. But I really want to join a dance class in august. I want to lose a lot of weight too. Before I join I want to lose as much weight as possible. I'm 130 pounds right now and I'm 4'9 1/2. (Am I too short to be a ballerina? Aren't dancers supposed to be tall and have long arms and legs? )

I have bad eating habits so I want to stop eating sweets/candy, meat, and starch. I would only want to eat salads veggies dairy and fruit. Is that healthy? People say that it is recommended that someone eats fruits, vegetables, dairy, protein (is that only meat?), and grains everyday. I only eat meat and starch everyday. Is that a bad thing? Please help me I'm confused...
