Should going to the gym allow you to jump the queue?

According to a proposal from a think-tank, if you go to the gym regularly and eat healthy food, you should be allowed to jump the queue at the waiting room of the hospital, as a bonus for having made an effort to keep fit.

Of course, there are still a lot of details to work out. Details like how to confirm that you have been going to the gym. Like how to confirm that you are eating healthy food.

Still, I would say the principle behind the idea is worth considering. People who do their share to keep fit should be rewarded in some ways when they need medical treatment.

Or would this amount to discrimination? Like all patients should be treated equally no matter what their diet or exercise regime is?

What do you think?
