Too little calories

So I was visiting another forum. A poster was so excited about some weight she lost. She lost a little less than 20 lbs by only eating tuna and water. No not tuna, veggies, etc. Only a single can and a bit of things like mayo and egg. It only added up to about 500 calories, only 40 g of protein. This seems to be it(she says of her intake). She thinks this is Plenty. I was aghast, but some have to continue on in their madness. Have you encountered this before?
