Today it is 7 April, which is celebrated as World Health Day.
Each year a theme is celebrated by WHO and this year it is High Blood Pressure, the cause of cardiac arrest and hordes of other health problems.
The risk of developing high blood pressure can be reduced by:
reducing salt intake;
eating a balanced diet;
avoiding harmful use of alcohol;
taking regular physical activity;
maintaining a healthy body weight; and
avoiding tobacco use.
The most simple way of physical activity can be brisk walking and running.
Take some time for walking rather than spending the time on hospital bed.
