Your tools include a GPS unit or a smartphone with a app. You download the directions and map, and off you go looking and following the coordinates to find a treasure buried or stuffed, resting in a waterproof box.
It is not always easy to find the box for the GPS unit only gets you close and then the search is up to you.
If luck is with you the hidden is discovered and the treasure is yours. You sign the log book and get your goodies, and then add a treasure of your own for the next hunter.
It is fun and free, and the places to look are all over the United States, and the world. So as they say, the sky is the limit when it comes to geo caching treasure adventures.
