Basically, I'm a short, skinny male up until recently. I started working out to bulk up 2 years ago. I am 5'5, was 125 pounds 2 years ago. I had a six pack back then. Through eating a lot of everything, bulking up, and neglecting abs more than I should have, I've gone up to 155 pounds over those 2 years. However, my six pack has started to deteriorate. Not all the way, but I lost my lower abs and middle and top are faint. Obliques are pretty much gone. I know that there's a percentage required of body fat that you need to show abs. What is that? I'm probably over by a little bit. Next, I used to just do crunches and pushups that got my abs before, but I want to get them back quickly. I heard planks are one of the best ways to gain abs, but I don't really feel it in my abs. My arms or legs give out before. What are the best workouts to gain abs and how frequent should I work them out? I also understand that a healthy diet would help too. I wish I ate only lean meats during my bulk period, but I just ate everything. What kind of diet would you recommend as well?
Lastly, given my situation, I don't know what percentage of body fat I have, but you can see faint abs already. How much do you think I need to lose, and how long do you think it would take given your methods of workouts, workout frequency, and diet? Thanks guys.
