Handling stress

Since all you you are here on this forum and probably write on other sites too.. I want to ask you a question. Do you use your writing to help you get through your stress of everyday life.

For me creative writing is a great stress buster, I often give expression to my emotions through my writing. My poetry's and short stories often become an outlet for some strong emotion that needs a positive release.

I find using my skills positively kills the negativity that could otherwise be released.

Do you find your writing a good outlet for your emotions?
