There's a recent report about a study made on the dietary habits and health effects that is related to the dawn to dusk fasting practiced by Muslims once a year during the month of Ramadan.
"A team from the Hebrew University carried out the research after studying the diets of Muslims during Ramadan, when people fast during the day and eat carb-heavy evening meals."
According to the study, the consumption of complex carbohydrates in the evening makes a person feel full faster and therefore eats less, leading to certain health benefits.

Has anyone practiced this kind of fasting and found any health benefits?
