Im on my domestic trip on the seashore. Lately was once our first day in reality swimming within the ocean. All used to be neatly unless we had been about shoulder deep within the water when my sisters and I started to itch. My dad was with us but didn’t experience the itching. At one point, the itch got so bad my sisters and I had to get out of the water and rinse. We asked one of the lifegaurds about possible sea lice but she said there weren’t any around there but that some people were leaving the beach yesterday because of an itch. She said the only way people were getting rid of the itch was just to rinse. It didnt seem like everyone on the beach was having this problem- just us. We were all itchy in areas our bathing suit covered and at some points it felt like more of an itchy sting. After rinsing and drying off, the itch went away and I went back to the water. I was fine until I got back into shoulder deep water and the itch began once more slightly extra however now not as badly. That is our first day on the seaside and we want to return however dont wish to get itchy like that once more. Does someone have any thought what this may be and the way we are able to stop it? Additionally does somebody be aware of why it simplest affected my sisters and I and no longer my dad despite the fact that he used to be with us? Thanks!
