My family never owned a pet when I was growing up so I was neither a dog nor cat person. It isn't until now that I've had an animal companion, and that's my kitty cat. I would like to add a dog to our family one of these days, but the dedication and responsibility that goes into taking care of one is incompatible with my life at this time. For now, I'll be a crazy cat lady who's crazy about my cat.

Even thought my mother is terrified of dogs, they are without a doubt my favorite. They are loyal, playful and often times very fun.

My favorite ever pet was a yellow and green budgie I had years ago. I had two but the other one was a right bugger and just bit your fingers off when you went near her, she was pretty old and couldn't fly very far. We have a funny photo of the other one. I laid him on a pillow on his back and pulled a duvet up to his neck, he just lay there blinking not a care in the world. I Loved that budgie. LOL!!

Cats all the way! They are so cute in the way they purr and meow. I like rabbits too, I got one for a small period, they were really cute as well, but my rabbit (most rabbits in general) don't actually make any noises. When I had my rabbit, I never even heard it grunt like what some people say rabbits do.

Dogs are fine as well, I like them, but I absolutely adore cats. Sometimes I even feel I have a connection with them. Smetimes, when I stare at the cats, they will stare back and meow in the cutest way ever. Of course, I have no means of telling if the cat is trying to say "Bugger off, you're creeping me out!" or "I like you!"

All the best,
