I have an exercise bike, a yoga mat, and an exercise ball although I would like to add weights for a little more variety in my resistance training in place of water jugs and small furniture. It really isn't considered gym equipment in the most conventional sense, but I also make use of my Nintendo Wii console with a Wii Fit board and a few fun games to make my workout routine more fun and interactive. I live in a house that has two floors so I often make use of the stairs for a good cardio workout. Steady furniture like dining chairs and sofas make nice "equipment," too.

We just got a few free weight dumbbells and a swiss ball for my girlfriend for abs, free weight work, and other resistance work. Other than that, Cthulhu and I are currently training with an in-home Bowflex Performance Pro set and the results are comparable (if not better) than the results we were achieving in the gym for most specific muscle movements.

I used to own a treadmill but I sold it. I was moving in an apartment so I couldn't have one on the top floor. I have a couple weights, but luckily my complex has an exercise room.

That's too bad. At least you have a fitness room where you live...any good weight training / resistance equipment? Or all the usual cardio equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, etc) instead?

My basic exercise equipment is here.
I have worn out shoes and slippers which I use to walk almost 15 kms daily to keep my blood sugar to the level.

Nice picture :) I'm actually thinking of buying a bench , some dumbbells and other equipment. I'm just looking for a place to buy, either new or second hand, but prices are quite high, for my budget. Now looking at companies or sites from other countries to compare.

I train in my garage. I have a power rack, Olympic barbell with cast iron weights, a set of dumbbells and an FID bench. I also have a punch bag, a medicine ball, a weightlifting belt I use attaching weight, weightlifting gloves I don't use and a ball of chalk to assist grip.

Very nice. That equipment you have right there is sufficient for nearly any weight training program. I am envious, Shaun.

I have some resistance bands and then a bunch of those P90x and Tapout videos. I am getting a punching bag for the garage and planning on a bike and elliptical so I can make it into my own little home gym...and the best part is that there is no AC out there so I will sweat my ass off double!

Oh wow...no AC is going to be rough lol. You ever tried the Ab Ripper X from the P90X series? That is a pretty decent ab workout IMO...

I only have two 35 pound dumb bells.. sad I know, but I make due with what I have available (ironically, its worked out great). I do a lot of exercise without any weights though, so the two dumb bells I mostly have for my arms.

Although you will not make any massive strength gains by not increasing your weights, there is a lot you can do with two 35 pound dumbbells.

You can do chest presses, chest flyes, lunges, squats, standing calf raises, bicep curls and reverse curls, skull crushers, tricep kick-backs, french curls, shoulder presses, side raises, front raises, shoulder shrugs, dumbbell rows, rear delt raises, and back extensions...just to name a few. Plenty of room for full body movement with a pair of good dumbbells...now to only acquire a full set...

All the best,
