Oatmeal is delicious and very underrated. It cleans you out completely and it indeed great for your cholesterol levels if you worry about that. I have a bowl every morning with a bit of milk, and I enjoy it very much. You can add fruit to it like raisins or bananas or even sprinkle cinnamon and honey on it. YUMMMY!

I eat plain raw oats at times...but never in the morning...I want to keep my insulin sensitive and my energy burning from fat storage as opposed to major carbohydrate consumption. Oats are better suited as a post-workout food that can be used to encourage the synthesis of protein for muscle recovery as opposed to "use it or lose it" philosophy if eaten previous to the day's workout...consume oats sparingly!
