I am convinced that starting with a daily yoga routine has greatly improved my energy levels in the morning. The sun salutation exercise in yoga helps t wake up and stretch all the muscles in the body and simply refreshes and energizes you. After this a breakfast and my exercise routine and I am done for the day! Have you considered yoga as part of your routine?
