Query: How do braces really feel?

I am getting braces day after today and I realize it hurts the next day but what kind of pain is it?

Is it really achy or is it absolutely unbearable? How exactly would you describe the pain? How many days would you say it lasts? When does it become tolerable?

Also, on a scale from one to ten how bad is it?

Sorry for the 100 questions but I’m honestly terrified and need someone to ease my thoughts. Thanks!
