Look, if you want to lost 30lbs than the best time to start is now. I'll tell you something that helped me; when working out don't try and excersise everything all at once. If your out of shape doing that will encourage you to give up. Running might be a good start, Google beginners running challenge and stick with it. And don't feel so bad about being single, better to be single than with someone just to be with someone.
