Currently I'm working out 6 days a week, with one day rest.
Today, however, I've been incredibly busy... I did walk in the snow instead of taking the bus, though. I looked crazy, waddling about and getting snowed in in my own coat.
So I was thinking, how many days of rest are good, in one week? 3? Before I used to work out one day, rest the next. But this was when I only did cardio.
Now I work out different parts of my body each day. My workout routine goes like this:
Mon. Cardio
Tue. Lower body
Wed. Upper body
Thurs. Martial arts
Fri. Lower body
Sat. Upper body
Sun. Cardio
And I take rest days depending on when I don't have time and when I do. Do I really need a days rest between each workout?
