forty five, 250# and ailing and drained.

Hey, My identify is Kate aka Crowsmuse.

as per the title i’m forty five years previous and 250#

&#thirteen;

and in poor health and uninterested in it.

&#thirteen;

married, no okids, but 2 dogs, 5 birds and 3 fish.

my babies.

i cannot control myself around food.

i use it for everything

happy – eat!

sad – eat!

angry – eat fast!

bad day? eat.

good day? lets eat!

now i am diagnosed prediabetic and close to having high blood pressure.

i cant be trusted, i really cant.

i have a treadmill and an excersize bike, and a bowflex.

i hate them all.

i eat pomegranate popsicles while staring at them, thinking.. damn they take up alot of space.

so i said the heck with this poop.

and i started Ideal Protein on 9/2.

with a promise to myself to stick to it to the letter until my birthday, 10/24

to give it a good solid try no cheating, and see how i do.

im on day 3 and my only problem is choking down these dang vegetables.

the waldens farms stuff gives me something wet with flavor to dip them in, but frankly the taste of the dressings is not pleasurable to me.

anyone have any ideas for someone who hates cooking but desperately needs to get these vegetables down?

also, at dinner i cannot eat as much as they ask, its too much food,

I can only eat half the food i prepared – 6 eggs plus 2c vegg plus a salad?

or 8oz beef taco meat on a big bed of lettuce with veggies and salsa

who has that kind of space in their stomach after drinking so much water

(i prefer vegetarian food, but plain tofu has no appeal without hours of marinating)

so far i dont seem to have a problem being hungry (knock on wood)

but i do have a problem with all the vegetables.

wow this sounds whiney lol, sorry

also i have 2 things i am searching for.

one – it says no root vegetables, but i see alot of phase 1 recipes for rutabaga and turnip . arent those root veg?

two – how can i tell if a vegetarian meat is protocol worthy?

what are the things i look for?

i see veggie shreds used alot in recipes too however the fats and carb appear excessive.

thanks a lot for welcoming me in, and listening
