The avocado is a main staple in my diet. I like to spread some on whole wheat bread for breakfast. It's a must have if you're trying to decrease the amount of calories you get from carbohydrates.

I think that Avocados can also be used to make snacks as well like ice cream! I incorporate raw foods into my food regimen and I have been experimenting with different ways to eat avocados and yes, there are recipes for delicious avocado ice cream. Here is one link. Yummy avocados!

We like to eat ours the same way, right out of the shell with salt. I cut mine in half, scoop out the pit, and eat it with a spoon! My husband likes to peel the entire avacado and eat it whole. We also save our pits and have 7 getting ready to plant already! I can't wait for avacado trees since here avacados are a little over a dollar a piece and we go through a lot of them!
