I like classical music and I find that the Nutcracker Suite has many upbeat pieces like the dance of the Sugar Plum Faeries or From the Hall of the Mountain King but they may not be good for fast paced cardio. I just like the music in the background while I am working out. Lately I really like the theme from the movie Last of The Mohicans which I can listen to over and over.

I mostly like classical music for meditation, but never consider it for working out.
However it's a good idea to try out to see how it works, because just now I can bring to mind a melody that can be compared with the upbeat music that I use in my work out routine.

I fully agree with OP, we should really watch and listen to this video and please never be intimated by the classical tag. This is worth watching, guys.

I love working ou while listening to Vivaldi. I just love his music! "The seasons" are my favorite. "Spring" sets the mood for a little working out.
All the best,
