Yes, I step on and off my scale a good dozen times. I consider this my step workout. ;p

Seriously, though, do a workout called Cardio Callanetics. It's short (about 40 mintues) but gives you a good sweat.

I use to run first thing in the morning for at least 30minutes. I used to do it on an empty stomach but I currently drink a protein shake before I run.

It depends on what I have to do for the day. I can workout in the morning. Sometimes the workouts are in the evening. I feel as longs as I get it in, I'm good.

It is better than nothing to workout at any time during the day...however, the point of early morning cardio is simply to activate stubborn fat stores when you are performing intense cardiovascular exercise in a fasted state / on an empty stomach.
