Exercise has lot of benefits. It is also good for boosting metabolism. Walk is simple and best exercise and increases metabolism. It is best to do 30 minutes walk daily.

The effects of exercise on metabolic rate are not as significant as we first thought. This is a mind blowing thread. It also explains so much. I'm a big walker, but never dropped much weight. I couldn't understand why. It was so frustrating.

I also agree that it is the type of exercise in conjunction with a certain type of diet that will boost or slow down the metabolism. I noticed that high intensity cardio is the only way that I really see my metabolism speed up and the weight falls off.
