- Water. Drink plenty of it. It flushes your system and clears your skin.
- Protein rich foods. Eat more often of these (chicken for example)
- Veggies. Make sure to have lots of it too, especially spinach and broccoli
- Fruits. Together with the above, eat plenty of it too
- Washing. Wash face with good cleanser and the moisturize
- Do not pick spots
- Blood circulation. Splash your face with hot water and then cold and then hot. Do this at least 5 to 10 times daily. It improves the circulation of blood on your face.
- Cold water. You can dip your face in cold water in 10 seconds so that your pores will be closed.
- Fatty foods is bad for your skin, don't eat too much.
- And lastly, smile and always be confident.

I totally would agree with everything you have mentioned to keep your skin looking vibrant. Especially the part about water and veggies. I have experienced a vegetarian and now vegan/raw lifestyle and my skin is looking really wonderful! I find that smoothies or vegetables and fruit mixed into a milkshake work the best. I have a habit now of drinking one green smoothie every morning. The skin loves it! :) And yes smiling is key!

I follow all of those steps and I've been battling acne/red marks since puberty. My skin has gotten a lot better the past few years but no matter how "healthy" I am, I'm still suffering from redness/acne.

I don't doubt that these foods benefit your skin in some way, but does anyone know the science behind this? It makes total sense that the vitamins from vegetables would help I suppose. I'm more curious about the protein-rich foods though, how do these help your skin...?
All the best,
