Can dietary Higher Degree Intakes be surpassed whereas nonetheless closing wholesome, no longer environment myself up for future well being issues?
Im a very active individual, 59, 160 lbs, 3500 calorie diet, and since Ive hit a barrier in gaining weight Im planning on increasing my diet to 4000+ calories. The only problem with this is, with my 3500 calorie diet some of my nutrients are already narrowly beneath their upper level intakes (sodium around 2800 mg, calcium around 2100 mg) and adding almost any kind of food to my diet would cause them to exceed that limit. I havent found any relative information posted on the web, but then again since Im not even remotely familiar with the science behind sodium/calcium intake and how their variance or overabundance would affect the body I might be searching in the wrong places so if you dont have a specific answer to my question then at least somewhere to start researching could be helpful.
