I would go with Honda. I owned a Civic for nearly 10 years, I bough it used with 50,000 miles and got it up to 140,000. I had very few problems with it, the problems I did have were easy fixes. It got great gas mileage and was a fun car to drive. I had a great experience with it, unlike some of my other cars.
