Does Fish Oil Supplement Work?

A friend of mine was given fish oil supplement. His doctor told him that it can help with his hypertension and good for the kidneys too. I searched for it in the net and have found out that indeed, the use of fish oil is given to patients with heart and kidney problems. Fish oil is rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) which is now recognized in reducing inflammation in patients suffering from disease of the kidneys. Anyone here who is also using this and do you believe it is working good for you?
