I consider my overall health to be good but I had an issue with my toenail for over a year. Half of my big toenail was black. At first I thought it was a bruising but it wouldn't go away and I thought it never would.
I mentioned that I did an 'extreme' cut before Christmas, I was probably on 1000 calories per day or less for 2-weeks and I was fasting as well.
At the end of the cut I noticed my toenail had completely healed.
Is this a coincidence or is calorie restriction one of the best means of healing?
