Ice Baths, Cold Showers, Contrast Water Therapy For Faster Recovery

In his latest Random Show episode, Tim Ferriss says that ice baths and cold water in general are incredible for recovery after working out particularly hard (squats to failure, etc.).



There are some studies that confirm that ice baths and cold water therapy (including contrast water therapy) are beneficial for bodybuilders and athletes - Ice bath - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.



While I'm not particularly interested in ice baths, I can survive a cold shower if it helps in recovery.
