I have been using Soy Protein Powder after workouts for several years now.
It is affordable and I can feel replenishing results when I drink it immediately after a workout. I stir one scoop (1/4 cup or 2 ounces) of it into a glass of skim or one percent milk. I favor Vanilla flavor!
