Question: Eating Healthier Tips?

I really would like to eat healthier. I have a pretty good body because my stomach is pretty flat and stuff, but when you can actually see it you can tell it's really not toned at all. So pretty much I just wanna tone my thighs and stomach. Anyway, i've been working out, but I know diet is a huge part of it. The problem is, we never have anything healthy. My mom is a single mom, and works till about 7. She never really has much time to go to the store, so I either end up eating something super unhealthy at home because we don't have anything else, or she stops and gets fast food on the way home. So can you give me some ideas on easy stuff I could make that's healthy? I'm a 14 year old girl. Thanks :)
