If you don't have much time to exercise and want to lose weight then aerobic training is the most effective, according to a new study.
234 people aged between 18-70 took part in the research and spent eight months doing aerobic training, resistance training or a combination of both. People who took part in aerobic training and aerobic workouts plus resistance workouts lost the most weight, while those just taking part in resistance training gained weight due to the increased muscle mass.
The researchers say that if the goal is to lose weight and not gain muscle, than aerobic training is best.
