Drinking milk before working out

Do you think it is a good idea to drink milk before workout? Whenever I wake up I would always drink one glass of milk for breakfast basically. If I workout without drinking milk, than I get very exhausted and tired out. I feel like the milk gives me the strength to work through the workout but sometimes I feel sick because it is not digesting fast enough.
