Has anyone ever had a bone infection? A person I work with recently was diagnosed with one. It's in her finger. She had surgery to remove the infected bone and is receiving antibiotics. The doctor couldn't tell her what caused it. I've heard of a bone infection but never knew anyone with one. I know she is frustrated they can't tell her how she got it.
