Tips on using cardio equipment at your gym

It would be great if everyone had a personal trainer but sadly we don't all have the budget. If you are a member of a gym however but find yourself at a loss on the proper way to use the cardio equipment here are some helpful tips. Hope our other forum members can also share their tips as well:

Stairclimber tips: If you want to focus on the lower body, try to just gently touch the handles instead of gripping it hard. Then press through your heels. Remember to stretch your calves and quads after using the equipment.

Treadmill tips-For a more natural feel to your movement run in the middle and not too close to the console as this limits your arm movements.

Stationary bike tip: Adjust the seat till it’s at hip height while you're standing straight beside the bike. Try to maintain a pace of 85 revolutions a minute. Also keep you feet flat on the pedals when working out so that it works more of the quad muscles.
