How To Exercise With Painful Arthritis

No matter what type of arthritis you might suffer from when it hurts it is very hard to stick with a exercise program. If your knees and back, feet and arms, legs and neck, everything aches and hurts, then the thought of moving around or lifting weights makes you want to scream "No Way." i know that feeling because I have been there wanting to exercise but hurting to bad to even move.

Tips for exercises that are helpful and not hurtful to your condition of arthritis:

Try water exercises. Buoyancy of water takes the weight off the joints. Try swimimg laps on your own or do simple exercises with a group.

Use a stationary bike or recumbent bicycle. This takes the pressure of your knees.

Consider trying yoga or tai chi classes to increase strength and flexibility in your joints.

Talk with a physical therapist on recommendations on best types of exercise for your condition and how to do them properly.

Any other ideas you want to share would be welcome here.
