I received these tips from a friend who suffers from cystitis and asthma. She says the use of these natural growing plants and weeds, help her with the inflamation of cystitis and the breathing problems caused by her asthma.
Cystitis and Garlic
Chop up 3 large cloves of garlic and 3 times a day put on teaspoon of chopped garlic in your mouth and wash it down with water. She claims that her cystitus infection had disappeared in five days. It seems her husband was missing as well. lol. It even seeps out of your pores.
Mullein Tea For Asthma
Drink 8 ounces of mullein tea daily for asthma.
Collect the leaves from a green plant or buy dried leaves from a herbist store
Place 2 tablespoons of dried tea in a cup and let steep for 15 to 20 minutes. Strain out leaves.
Or place a large bunch of fresh green leaves in a pot of boiling water and let steep until water becomes tea. Strain out the leaves and add sweetner if desired.
Mullein (Verbascum thapsus), has long been used by herbalists for its value in alleviating upper respiratory problems. The leaves of this common biennial plant are greyish green with a dense covering of fine white hairs. During the first season, mullein appears as a rosette of large, wooly leaves that persist through the winter and, during the second season, a tall, flowering stalk appears with small yellow flowers crowning its spike. Both the flowers and the leaves have medicinal use.
Has anyone here ever used garlic or Mullein for medicinal purposes? Or share your feelings about this information here.
