Alternative to Cardio

I know we all hate cardio, but it's a must if you are trying to burn some calories. Have you considered playing some pick up basketball in your cardio slot? If you can get in some regular 5 on 5 games you will be able to play a super fun sport and not even notice all of the running you are doing! I rarely have to run now that I am playing basketball regularly, plus it works a lot of other muscles.
