My son made me realize I’m not doing as good as job as I thought when it comes to teaching him about healthy eating. He was playing with fake food and turns to me and says, “I love donuts. They’re my favorite fruit.” He’s three so I’m hoping he’s just confused about what fruit really is. I did get him some blueberries and an apple at that point, just to help him remember what fruit is.
