I realize that I'm new here, but I do have experience on other lifting forums, and I just have a question about the way this subforum is structured.
Why does bodybuilding have its own subforum when strength and size and lumped together? The main goals of bodybuilding is hypertrophy, or adding muscle size. The main goal of strength training is to increase how much weight is used. While hypertrophy can be helpful for breaking through plateaus, many strength athletes compete is a certain weight class and don't want to bulk up beyond that, at least not in a way that they can't get back to competition weight while retaining the strength gains.
Like I said, I know I'm new here, but I just want to understand how and why it's set up this way, so I can contribute to the community.
Edit: I just realized that the bulking/adding muscle is a subforum of the bodybuilding forum. The forum tree is laid out differently than I'm used to. I apologize for making a worthless thread, and if the mods want to delete this, please feel free.
*facepalm*
